SA CRANES AND HOISTS (PTY) LTD is a well known name in the industry personnel and management are also well known in the crane industry. The Company has a 10 year history, born out of some of the largest crane companies in South Africa. SA Cranes and Hoists (PTY) LTD started doing business in April 2010 at their premises in Wadeville. The main objective was to supply, do repairs, maintenance, refurbishment and certification to all makes of cranes, hoists and rigging equipment.
SA CRANES AND HOISTS ( Pty ) Ltd, is a 51% Black owned company registered in South Africa as an LME with LME number 289. The company is also registered with the Lifting Equipment Engineering Accociation of South Africa under Membership number 8100594.
As per new legislation all relevant personnel have applied for LMI certification. For those who have already been certified we attach copies of certificates.

In May 2010 expansion took the form of a new Branch Network, with the first addition being that in Kuruman. The rational behind the expansion was that of a more local and more efficient cost effective service to remote customers.
With on-going success in Kuruman and Wadeville, a Branch was opened in Kiross in March 2012, thereby providing growth and Service to the customer base in Mpumalanga. Another branch was opened in Postmasburg in March 2016. This was the catalyst that created the solid, wide spread foundation from which the Company became a reliable efficient and respected supplier in the Crane Hoist and Lifting Equipment Market Place.
Now three years later the next big step is to establish one more branch, in Rustenburg. We have build relationships with some of the larger companies in this area and feel that a more efficient service as well as more business with these customers are possible should we be local in this area of operation.
SA Cranes And Hoists Wadeville branch relocated to Apex Benoni in January 2019 a more centralized location, closer to its supplier network and distribution centres streamlining the collection and despatch of spare parts and equipment to the various branches.
The directors in our company is Mr. Schalk Burger, Mr. Moeketsi Manenye and Ms. Gereldiney Gilchrist. Our customer references includes references from known companies such as Afgri, Afrox, Assmang, Beeshoek, Khumani, Babcock Africa, Clover, Nampak, Hydra Arc, PPC Lime, Petra Diamonds Finsch Mine and Venture.
